RM Taylor Inc.

RM Taylor Inc. (RMT) contracted to design and institute conveyor systems at several plants have a title toed by General Motors Corp. Each contract gave GM the right to require alterations in the work and stated that RMT was not to proce with extra work unles it had been authorized by way of an emergency field order, contract continuation or change order. If a change was made at emergency field order, RMT had to perform the work immediately and then negotiate with GM for payment.
